Sound Effects
Sound effects are a great addition to your show! They give it an extra flavor, and add some fun. A great way to find sound effects is simply to search them. Once you have find a few you like, download them, then upload them to your audio files. I would do a test show to see which level is best for your sound effects, but generally 100%-150% will work the best. You can use them as the subject changes for your show, or when you welcome a caller you can play a funny sound effect, you can also play one before your show ends, and when you are welcoming a co-host or special guest. If you have a comedy show, and you have an unwanted rambling caller, you can play a voice saying "Time's up", and promptly hang up, or if you have a guest who has made an excellent point, you can play applause. They also work great if you are doing giveaways to caller number ___! If you use or have used sound effects during your show, I would love to hear your thoughts here. Until next week, Y'all! |
